Fifth Avenue Floral

My NEW Summer Mini Catalogue JUST arrived on Friday, and has so many gorgeous stamps, color combos, accessories, papers, punches and IDEAS, that I really wanted it all, and wanted it NOW to start playing. Instead...I took several of the cards in the catty, CASEd them as much as possible, and used sets I currently own to fulfill the need to play! I'll be posting them Monday to Thursday this week, and then on Friday, will start posting the cards we will make at the Techniques Stamp Camp being held this weekend in Waterloo. Enjoy the cards!

ps- I STILL want it all! LOL!

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Daffodil Delight CS and Classic Ink, Whisper White CS, Pacific Point CS and Classic Ink, Tangerine Tango Classic Ink, Wild Wasabi Classic Ink, Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set, Paper Piercing Tool, Pop Dots.

A Gorgeous CASE...

Hey friends! I love, love, LOVE this scrapbook page, and would have copied it 100% if I had every product she used. Instead, I made due with what accessories I had, and love it just as much. I am admittedly NOT a scrapbooker, so am thrilled when I come across a layout, idea, or color combo I can CASE! (In this case, all 3) Thanks Erica for your talent and creativity!!! ;o) This was made as a Birthday present for one of L'il C's BFF's...I tried it with color and black and white photos, and while I prefer the B+W, L'il C prefers the color. They will go in frames, and each of the girls can have one!

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Whisper White CS, Real Red CS and Classic Ink, Tangerine Tango CS, Daffodil Delight CS, Green Galore CS (retired), Pacific Point CS, Made 2 Last Stamp Set (retired), ribbon, butterflies and embossing folder from my crafty stash.

Artful Inkers Design Team Post

Morning everyone! Here is another post for the Artful Inkers Design Team. Four of my team mates were selected to showcase 1 Suite from the current Occasions Mini. I was fortunate enough to get my pick of the Nature's Walk Suite...I love this suite, the designer papers are gorgeous, the stamp sets are beautiful and the color combo is so soothing. Love it! Anyway, today I made a little paper basket from the DSP and some Not Quite Navy Ribbon. The template for the basket came from a magazine quite a while ago, I just can't remember which one! It may have been Chatelaine, Canadian Living, or even Modern Dog! Sorry not to have been more helpful with that, my searches are coming up empty, but I am sure it wasn't a stamping mag!

Be sure to check out my team mates to see all the other Suite's in action!

Happy Mother's Day!

I know I'm early for Mother's Day, but when I saw these 2 challenges, Sketch Frenzy Friday had the awesome sketch, and Stampin' Celebration had a gorgeous color combo, I immediately knew I wanted to use my bird punch and stamp. And, well...I just thought my mom would love this card from her "Robbyn", so the sentiment was added! ;0)

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Chocolate Chip CS and Classic Ink, Crumb Cake CS and Classic Ink, Wild Wasabi CS and Classic Ink, Sweet Little Sentiments Stamp Set, Woodgrain Background Stamp, Punch Pot Pourri (Level 1 Hostess Set), Scallop Square Extra Large Punch, Two Step Bird Extra Large Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones

Artful*Inkers Design Team, "Anything Else" category!

Hey there friends! Here comes another round of Artful Inkers Design Team reveals...this week you will be seeing more in the "anything else" category. Items that didn't fit into one of the others assigned to us. I believe this technique is called "color resist", and I was unsure it would work well with a line image vs. a solid image it's usually made with. I must say however, I do like it!

Be sure to check out my team mates to see all the other Suite's in action!

LOVE the Build a Blossom Set!

ETA: OMGoodness! Check THIS out! Thanks Keesh and the rest of the Inkspirations DT! You girls rock!

I love, love, LOVE the Build a Blossom Stamp Set, and Blossom Petals Punch! I've had such fun playing with it and creating unusual things (see here and here), but I haven't had the chance to use them in a more traditional manner. Today I finally got that chance and, boy, I LOVE it even more now! This card was made for Makeesha's Inkspirations Challenge #60. The challenge was to use the colors So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, and Whisper White, which made this card a "must make" today! It's been a long time since I've participated in a challenge, and I do want to get back to them. What's your fave challenge site? Some of my old standby's have disappeared, so I'm open to suggestions! Please leave me a comment with your fave site, and I'll pop by to visit!!!

Have a great afternoon everyone, it's been a GORGEOUS sunny day here, AND I got a surprise flower delivery today, so it's rounding out to be an A +++ day! :o)

bff's eating Sour Skittles

Morning everyone! Here is a frame I made for one of L'il C's bff's. L'il C turned 10 the other day, and her bff gave her a pack of sour Skittles. Well, the two of them sat down, and polished them off, while I snapped photos of them. Their faces were amazing, as the Skittles were so sour! My mouth waters just looking at the photos.

I won't post an ingredients list, as all I used was some scraps from a retired Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' Kit.

Have a great day everyone!
Hugs,
Robbyn

Artful*Inkers Design Team, "Anything Else" Category ;o)

Hey friends! This is the last month we will be posting the Artful Inkers Design Team projects featuring Suites from the Current Occasions Mini Catalogue. Over the past 3 months, I've had the pleasure to share my creations using the Botanical Gazette Suite. I have to tell you all how much I LOVE this set, and how versatile and gorgeous I think it is! This month I will be posting all other projects made, that didn't necessarily fit into the other assigned categories. I am starting with this card, which is one of my all time fave's! A sentiment could be added on the front, or inside to customize it, but I really loved the idea of leaving it "sentiment-free" for the moment. The idea for the background came from the Mini Catty itself, and the LO from the Papercrafts Jan./Feb. 2011 "Go To Sketch". Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! What have you all been creating with the Botanical Gazette Suite? Leave me a link in the comments below, and I'd love to see your work too!
Hugs,
Robbyn
