CASEd Quilt Card

Morning friends! This card was CASEd from one I saw on our Stampin' Up! demo only site (Stampin' Connection), so unfortunately I can't link you to it. The only thing I changed is the color of CS I used, which in my version is Blush Blossom (retired) and Early Espresso. It features the new Triple Layer punch, which I am loving!

Hope you enjoy!

FTL 139, CCMC 150 and CAS -ual Friday's

Hello there! I created this card for three challenge sites, Create with Connie and Mary (a NEW challenge site for me, so excited I found it!) in which the challenge was to use the colors Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand, and Not Quite Navy, and also for the Clean and Simple site, in which the challenge was the sketch and also to mix and match in the font of the sentiment. (Which, I must admit was super easy with the new Happy Greetings Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!'s Summer Mini! The fonts in all of those stamps are already mixed and matched!) I am also entering this in the CAS-ual Friday's site, which wants twine and buttons to be highlighted. I love this card, and can see it being recreated for fathers day, birthdays, sympathy cards, basically anything manly. And...I have to tell you that I won Sail Away Stamp at my last Artful Inkers Team Meeting, thanks Donna! ;o)

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Not Quite Navy CS and Classic Ink, Sahara Sand CS and Classic Ink, Poppy Parade Classic Ink, Aqua Painter, Staz On Black Ink, Bakers Twine in Early Espresso, Button from the Regals Collection, Happy Greetings Stamp Set, Sail Away Stamp Set, and a clear block to give the Sahara Sand Background look.

Blogspot problems?!?

I don't think it's only me having blogspot problems...my posts appear and disappear in some random pattern.. Every time I finally convince myself to repost them, one or 2 appear! I think I'll ignore it for now, and cross my fingers it all works out. Sorry to those being directed my way from other sites to see posts that are not here! :o)

Have a great weekend everyone, I have more cards to share tomorrow, hopefully they'll appear!

Hugs,
Robbyn

SU! accessorized Sock Monkeys

SO. DARN. CUTE!!! L'il C came home from school the other day with instructions on how to make these adorable sock monkey faces. We whipped up 2 in about 20 minutes. Both the button eyes, and the felt flowers on their hats are retired SU! accessories. I guess that's one good thing about being an embellishment hoarder...you always have left overs for other projects! ;o)

Enjoy!

Inkspirations Color Challenge #68

Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to quickly post this, so I can enter it into Keesh's Color challenge before the cut off date. The colors she chose are Pretty In Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. Puhhhleeeze click on the photo above to get a better view of it (and excuse the photo in the frame, I quickly whipped it off of my computer so I would have something to fill in the open space, I have a 5x7 of this photo on order, but it won't arrive in time!), as you can't see the matt very well as is. I adore the new Travel Log set from Stampin' Up! and love that you can make your own little mapped backgrounds with it! This is one of the projects we will be making at my "Mom and Me" summer class (though I am thinking Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy and Garden Green for the boys!), being held June 4th, 1-3. Contact me asap to reserve your seat(s)!

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Certainly Celery Classic Ink, Whisper White Craft Ink, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Bashful Blue CS, Pretty In Pink CS, Travel Log Stamp Set, Button Latte Button, Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch, Decorative Label Punch, standard hole punch from my office supplies, frame from my local dollar store.

Just a little Note

Morning everyone! I've been away for a bit. Last week was one of those weeks that you left at 8 am, and got home at 11 pm. I packed lunches and dinners and ate in the car on the run. And though it was a fun week, I'm exhausted, and of course, sick this week! Boo me! LOL! So on Saturday, I attended a "Stamp Out Cancer" event which was a lot of fun. I took my time making my projects, though we were provided time to scrap on our own projects, I only managed to complete 2 cards. Come back tomorrow to see #2!

This card was made for the Clean and Simple Site, and is for their FTL137 sketch. It features Stampin' Up!'s new triple layer blossom punch. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Not Quite Navy CS, Peach Parfait CS, Pear Pizazz Classic Ink, Itty Bitty Buttons, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Triple Layer Punch, Apple Blossoms Stamp Set, Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
